Paterson SA celebrated another successful year and looked to the future with their annual award ceremony and conference at the impressive Airth Castle Hotel, Scotland.
Jon Macleod took to the stage to thank the PSA team and recognise their achievements during the past year. He continued to discuss how Paterson SA has achieved the balance between business and creativity, and showed appreciation to the team for inspiring him. Jon also dedicated a special thank you to the receptionists, who play an important role in helping the salon achieve their goals.
As the awards commenced, Jon explained that there was a change to the usual awards and that two new awards were being introduced. The first was PSA Young Stylist of the Year, which was collected by Jade Harrison, while the second was PSA Fantastic Hairdresser of the Year. This was presented by Ian Cuthbert, Development Director for PSA, who rewarded an emotional Heidi Margiotta for her 21 years of dedication.
Each member of the team was invited to vote for their favourite Assistant Image of the Year, Image of the Year and Collection of the Year. Sarah West of George Street won Assistant Image of the Year, while Lothian Road’s Gary Murdoch picked up both the Image of the Year and Collection of the Year awards for a beautiful collection inspired by the previous work of George Paterson.
An independent panel of judges voted George Street the Artistic Salon of the Year for the third year running with their striking collection, while Dalkeith continued their success by picking up Salon of the Year for the second year in a row.
‘Today is all about recognising your passion and commitment to each other and your clients,’ adds Jon MacLeod. ‘As a salon group it is good to come together and celebrate the positive things that happened in 2008, and look forward to what will be another wonderful year.’
